SPDU is a new Somalian political party with islamic democracy and vaue systems at its heart. The party strives for the peace and economic development for Somalia.  It is for the peace and democratic union of Somalia. All Somali people from every walk of life are invited to the party.

Party strives for reconciliation

At this critical time in our country, the party will focus on delivering national reconciliation based on a fair power-sharing criteria. Regions will be encouraged to come together to form a federal state with proper check and balance where every district or village will select their leaders in a democratic way. This bottom-up approach will convince people that they have power and can develop their regions or districts politically and economically.

  Spdu is a Somalian political party founded by Somali intellectuals living in the Diaspora. Headquartered in London, the party strives to solve the seemingly intractable Somalia civil war. The founding members have the vision and the intellect required for future leaders of somalia.

  SPDU is a new party created to address the current misrule of our country. The current goverment led by sheikh sharif has failed to restore peace. We have a plan to salvage the country from the brink.

  The next event is a general conference to be held in mogadisho, Somalia,  on 1st of June, 2012.  All members are invited. There is an entrance free of charge. The avenue will be published here soon. The participants are encouraged to come with new ideas that can take Somalia forward in the 21st century.
